About Me
Hello! I’m Jenna Batteate, the maker behind Batteate Silver Co. I’m newly married to my best friend Raiden, slightly obsessed with rocks, and usually sharing my workspace with two very opinionated dogs, Rocky, an Australian Cattle Dog, and Goose, a German Shorthaired Pointer.
My Background
By day, I work alongside my dad building custom homes! I am in charge of the metalwork for all of our projects which has led to building some pretty neat things like chandeliers, pizza ovens, crazy brackets, mirrors, and cabinets!
That background means I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty and thinking about how things are built, which carries straight into my jewelry work.
I’ve loved rocks and minerals for as long as I can remember. I go rockhounding every chance I get, and yes, my rock collection is a little out of control.
The Dream
This jewelry path feels like a dream because it lets me combine the two things I love most, metal and stone. Strong materials, natural beauty, and pieces that actually last.
Everything here is made by hand, in small batches, with intention and a lot of joy. Batteate Silver Co. is slow-made, stone-led, and meant to be worn, not saved for someday.
